At Big Sip Crappie Guide Services, our mission is to provide unforgettable, family-friendly fishing adventures across Mississippi’s waters. We’re committed to teaching anglers of all ages how to confidently use Livescope technology, catch quality crappie, and create lasting memories on the water. Whether you're here to learn, relax, or land your personal best — we’ve got you covered with expert guidance, top-tier gear, and Southern hospitality. .
At Big Sip Crappie Guide Services, we don’t just take you fishing — we teach you how to fish smarter. Using cutting-edge Livescope sonar, we help you spot crappie in real time and understand how they move, bite, and behave. It's not just a fishing trip — it's a hands-on learning experience led by passionate anglers who treat every guest like family.
Jason Clements was raised on the very waters he now guides on — with the Ross Barnett Reservoir being his second home. A lifelong fisherman with a passion for crappie, Jason grew up learning every bend, stump line, and hidden hotspot in Mississippi’s lakes.
For the past 10 years, he’s competed in crappie tournaments across the region and has earned a reputation for both skill and sportsmanship. Guiding came naturally, and now Jason shares his knowledge through personalized trips that blend fishing, fun, and real instruction — especially with Livescope technology.
Whether you're chasing slabs for the first time or looking to sharpen your sonar skills, Jason is dedicated to making every trip productive, memorable, and full of Southern hospitality.
At Big Sip Crappie Guide Services, it’s truly a family-run operation. While Jason leads most of the guided trips, Renee is always ready to step in — especially when families, children, or female anglers join the boat. Whether it’s sharing tournament tips, helping with gear, or making first-timers feel at home, Renee brings a supportive and welcoming energy to the experience.
As a husband-and-wife duo, we work side by side — not only in tournaments across the region, but also in running and growing this business together. Every trip is personal to us, and our goal is to make sure every client leaves with great memories, new skills, and maybe even a few slab crappie.
Renee never picked up a crappie rod until she married Jason in 2023 — but she was hooked from the start. What began as a new hobby quickly turned into a shared passion, and now the two travel as a husband-and-wife tournament team, bringing their love for fishing (and each other) to every competition and guided trip.
Together, they make Big Sip Crappie Guide Services a true family business, blending experience, patience, and hospitality for anglers of all ages and skill levels.
BIG SIP Crappie Guide Service LLC offers fully equipped, professionally guided fishing trips across Mississippi waters—perfect for both beginners and seasoned anglers. Whether you're chasing big slabs or learning the latest in sonar fishing, we’ve got the tools and experience to make it happen.
All guided trips include:
